Having colonoscopy next week. Is it critical that low dose aspirin, fish oil, multivitamin, and vitamin C be discontinued 7 days in advance?
Yes If Told Not: The Aspirin and fish oil both can thin your blood and cause bleeding issues during the procedures. Vitamins often have dyes in them that can discolor the tissues and make it difficult to accurately assess any conditions that might be present.
