Experiencing some pain internally (not severe) but a little discomfort in kidney area from back lower side which to be said having stone. Any remedies?

? question: Cannot tell exactly what the question refers to as worded, nut if you have a diagnosed kidney stone, that can certainly account for your pain in that area. Copious amounts of fluids to flush your kidneys and try and pass the stone may help. If pain severe or no relief, you may need to see a Urologist to assure you do not get a back-up of fluids into your kidney, thus requiring a stent as well. ...Read more

Should I have my gallbladder remove? I have been diagnose with gallstones. I’m not vomiting, nor do I have fevers or chills, but I have some discomfort on my stomach, burning on the right side which wraps around my back and pressure on my lower abdominal

Should I have my gallbladder remove? I have been diagnose with gallstones. I’m not vomiting, nor do I have fevers or chills, but I have some discomfort on my stomach, burning on the right side which wraps around my back and pressure on my lower abdominal

Your: Your physician and surgeon should have reviewed the pros and cons of a cholecystectomy now versus waiting for worsening symptoms. There is always a possibility of another source, but when a well known cause of upper abdominal pain is identified, additional work up is unlikely to identify a reason not to remove the gallbladder. Removal of the gallbladder poses the least amount of risk when it is not inflamed (cholecystitis) and if the stones are small, there is an ongoing risk of pancreatitis as long as the gallbladder and stones remain.

A full history, physical exam, and studies have been performed by your physician; I recommend following your surgeon's advice or seeking another opinion. A laparoscopic cholecystectomy is easier to recover from than an open procedure or pancreatitis.

I am experiencing passing gas, hemorrhoids, back pain (side: lower), mucus in stool and abdominal discomfort. The following also describes me: Dehydration. What should I do?

IBS: These intestinal symptoms are suggestive of an irritable bowel syndrome although you don't mention diarrhea which is usually present. It's recommended that you be evaluated by your physician or a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment. If you're passing gas, it rules out intestinal obstruction and you should be able to drink adequate fluids (not carbonated). Hemorrhoids treated by proctolog ...Read more
