That depends on: How serious it is and what drugs or medications were taken. Overdoses are often treated initially in an emergency room. The person is monitored and often they have intravenous fluids. If they stopped breathing - a tube can be inserted to assist with breathing. Very infrequently: Salsalate is an infrequently used NSAID that is somewhat similar to Aspirin but has less GI risk and is not an anticoagulant as is aspirin. Abuse is not a term that generally would apply here. Why is it being taken in the first place? If you take too much you will develop warning signs such as ringing in the ears.
