I'm currently taking Allegra-D 24hr daily, can I also take the occasional Diphenhydramine? I mainly would use the Benadryl (diphenhydramine) for sedative effects.
Interactions: Several interactions are reported with these drugs, some potentially dangerous. Best to talk to your doctor about use of other medications with Stribild. ...Read more

Will over-the-counter antihistamines like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) have any bad interactions with ssris like zoloft?
I was prescribed Loratadine for irritant dermatitis on chest.are those pills safe-how often side effects appear from them?is Benadryl (diphenhydramine) better?
Drug interactions.: Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can be sedating (typically) or stimulating (unusual) . When a reaction occurs opposite to what is typically experienced, it is called a paradoxical reaction. A pharmacist can run a drug interaction screen for you and this is why it is wise to get all of your medications from a single source. Decongestants are stimulants and often used in combination with Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and could be a bad mix. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Are there any interactions between diphenhydramine and l-theamine? Can both be taken together safely in recommended amounts for sleep?
No: I am not sure what l-theanine is. However, the only dietary supplements/herbals i know of which should be avoided when taking Diphenhydramine are valerian, st. John's wort, kava kava, and gotu kola; as the combination may enhance CNS depression. I am doubtful that whatever l-theanine is will compound any sedative effects you may experience with Diphenhydramine alone. ...Read more
Benadryl (diphenhydramine) makes me drowsy. If i take the recommended dose of Benadryl (diphenhydramine) allergy ultratabs (25mg) for my flight will that be okay?
Adderall, tylenol, (acetaminophen) and generic unisom sleep tabs are ok to all be taken together?
Yes, But Why?: Medically, there should not be an issue with taking these at normal doses. However, i would be puzzled as to why you would take this combination together, especially the unisom and adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine). Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) is likely to make it more difficult for you to fall asleep, which would counteract the use of unisom. ...Read more
