Sailor's answer: no: The drug often does not mix well with alcohol as the side-effects (s/e) of both the rx and the alcohol are magnified. The common s/e of dramamine (dimenhydrinate) are the three ds: dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth. There are many other side-effects listed including severe allergic reactions and even death but I believe the three ds are the most common s/e. Look up the drug and precautions on drugs.
