Dihydrotestosterone: Dht is one of two metabolites of testosterone (estradiol is the other). You can easily check for both via simple blood draw. Reference ranges will vary depending upon lab & equipment used, therefore specific test ordered. High Dht is associated w/hair loss & enlarged prostate. Increase Estradiol: Testosterone is converted into both Dht (dihydrotestosterone) & e2 (estradiol). Think of these two as balanced on opposite ends of seesaw.
