Not skin tag: Hpv, or human papilloma virus, causes warts, including common warts and genital warts. These are different from skin tags. Mode of transmission: HPV vaccine would not help. The important question is how did a 9 year old girl got anal warts. I think your friend needs to discuss this with the pediatrician as soon as possible. It is a medical-legal consequence if those are really due to a HPV-related infection.
