My medication alkalizes urine and can cause calcium phosphate stones. How can I acidify my urine to counter this effect?

How can I get doxylamine without calcium phosphate as an inert ingredient in it? The calcium constipates me no matter how much fiber I eat!

Bowel regimen: You'll probably have a hard time finding it without the calcium. I'd try changing your bowel regimen. Instead of just fiber, try using a tablespoon of milk of magnesia (magnesium hydroxide) before bedtime. Or senna pills. ...Read more

What causes low serum phosphate other than parathyroidism? PTH & calcium are constantly normal. Normal D vitamin because of high dose supplements.

Low phos: Phos metabolism is intake /shift/ losses. I am assuming you have good intake. So the other two are the reason, either shift inside the cells or losses from the kidney. How low is the phos? Your medication list shows no meds that can cause losses. A lab doesn't need to be treated, so rpt lab and then get a urine fractional excretion if still low. Talk to your MD. ...Read more

Hello 4 yr old son having issues with dairy. We need to get calcium supplement. What type would you recommend and why? Tricalcium phosphate?

Have bone density scan tomo morn. No calcium supplmnts BUT drank 3 glasses almondMilk:135% daily value calcium (fortified w/tricalcium phosphate).Bad?
