I am a 17 year old female and my height is 5'4. I think that I can still grow, so is it possible to grow another 2 inches? Any tips, diet, or exercises
You probably can't: Sorry to bear bad news, but if you are an 17 year old woman there is likely no way to increase your height. Height increases from the growth plates in bones and they usually close 2-3 years after puberty. After this no growth is possible. Most women stop growing by age 16. At this point you need to learn to accept your height (or try platform shoes- please stay away from high heels!). ...Read more
What imbalance?: If you are speaking about an imbalance of estrogen and progesterone, then you would want to treat that with estrogen and Progesterone (typically in form of birth control pill). Make sure at normal weight (not too heavy/thin), and no problem with thyroid or vonwillebrand. Food and diet are not going to affect pituitary which regulates ovarian production of hormones that control menstrual cycle. ...Read more
I am 21 year old boy. My height is 5'5"...i want increase ny height upto 5'7. how I will achieve. Plzz give regular diet plan?
I'm sorry to tell you that this is impossible. Bone growth occurs at a part of the bone called the growth plate (near the ends of the bones). The growth plates "close" (basically disappear) in men between the ages of 18-21. After that there is no way to grow taller.
Height is mostly genetic but there are measures that might have increased growth a bit if tried when younger but you're fully grown. ...Read more
No junk food: Simple sugars and processed carbs should be avoided or limited. This includes any flour product. The fine grind makes absorption quick, and spikes your blood sugar which increases Insulin and promotes weight gain. Good fats such as olive oil and coconut oil are fine in sensible amounts. Eat a rainbow of lots of organic vegetables and 3 oz protein with each meal 5 hours apart. No soda. ...Read more
Not enough room here: Take her to see a good dietitian as well as her own doctor. Weight control is more than just diet alone, especially in an adolescent girl. In brief, provide whole, unprocessed foods. Eliminate fast foods and most sugar. Lead by example. Exercise together - have fun moving. Teach her that food is primarily to satisfy hunger, not to turn to when bored, angry, tired or sad. ...Read more

Goal for Diet plan: Is related to total calorie intake and quality of food. Less calories from carbohydrates and more on fruits and vegetables, fish and gluten-free, organics may help. Stay away from cholesterol-rich food. Err on the side of less rather than more quantity. Food rich in anti-oxidants will be a plus. But, more than diet should be an exercise plan daily and has to be consistent. Antiplatelet agents. ...Read more
I am a 20 year old male. Height 67 inches, weight 56 kgs! I wanna build a good physique and abs! I am a pure vegetarian. Suggest an apt diet plan?
You can do it: You will need to supplement for protein, perhaps with soy powder for vegetarians, and as a vegan, you MUST supplement for vitamin B12, iron, iodine, calcium and a few others or you will ruin your health (even damage your brain permanently). Mixing vegetable proteins helps you get a balance of amino acids ("completeness") but this probably won't be enough. Good luck with this adventure. ...Read more

Eat fewer calories: One should choose an exercise he really enjoys. Any form of exercise burns calories, so if one does not eat or drink more calories than he is using during his exercise, then his body will burn up fat as fuel. However, if a person drinks a large orange juice (about 300 calories) while exercising, and exercises away only 200 calories, he will still get wider even though he exercises. Avoid sugars. ...Read more

Healthy foods!: It depends on how tall you are, if your weight is a problem. See your doctor if you are worried about growth or dealing with an eating disorder. Your diet should be about eating enough fresh real food, and not food from packages or mixes. Organic food, free of pesticides, is ideal. Eat brightly colored fruits and vegetables. Avoid fried foods and sugar (ex: sugared drinks). ...Read more

Dieting: There is no "safe, rapid" weight loss that is generally recommended. Basically you need to burn more calories than you consume to achieve weight loss, so that means:increase activity;generally 30 minutes 3-5 per week is recommended. Also portion control and good food choices are important. Generally 1800-2200 cal per day for caloric intake. Drink plenty of water. There is no "easy" wt loss plan. ...Read more

Can I lose 50 kg in 2-3 months I'm 100 kg 176cm 18 years old. So if it possible can you give me diet plan for that. I want to be a model?
Not so fast: It will take longer than 2-3 months to lose that much. You are best able to keep the weight off if you lose about 2 pounds per week which would mean 50 KG in a year. A balanced 1200-1800 calorie diet with daily exercise should allow you to reach this goal. A dietician can help you with food choices and meal planning. A coach can help with an exercise program.Combine aerobic and weight lifts ...Read more
I am 35 years old and my weight is 89 kgs. According to BMI index my weight should be around 82 kgs. Kindly tell me weekly diet plan and exercises.?
You decide: Thirty years in medicine has persuaded me that your "ideal weight" is really what looks and feels right to you and to your spouse if you are married. During the past few years, hard evidence of serious adverse health effects of being a bit "overweight" by the charts is remarkably elusive. Others will disagree, but I suggest you find a form of exercise you really like and take it up seriously. ...Read more

Takes time: Your bmi is 45.0 and normal wt is considered to be 54-72kg. Wt loss is all about calories, 3600cal is equal to one pound. Withhold 3600cal and lose 1 lb (2.2lbs=1kg) the wt you are currently would be advisable to see a physician and physical trainer to try to lose wt as rapidly as you describe. Will be difficult in that time you wish to be safe and keep wt off. ...Read more

The key is fitness: You're almost at your physical peak and owe it to yourself to find some fitness activity that you enjoy and will keep you burning calories -- it will normalize your appetite. Get a scientific book or dietician consult to learn to count calories. What you do in private has nothing to do with your weight, and if this is a conflict for you, talk with a sensible man -- maybe even dad. ...Read more
