Unsafe, unwise: I believe most extreme diets are unhealthy and unwise and this is a good example. I advise limiting protein to about 70 grams a day. Higher amounts puts stress on the kidneys, can cause osteoporosis and may reduce longevity- esp. if the main source is animal protein. Tg is only mildly elevated and would respond best to low calorie diet with focus on reducing high glycemic index foods and fructose.
