Diet For Disease Caused By Mycoplasma
Maybe miscarriages: Ureaplasma & mycoplasma hominis have been implicated in single miscarriages or recurrent pregnancy losses. The studies are not high quality, but it's relatively cheap and easy to give a course of antibiotics to women who have had one or more miscarriages, & their partners. Mycoplasma genitalium may be a cause pelvic inflammatory disease (pid). See a rei specialist if ttc without success.
Refers to all the physical matter humans (like all living creatures) must take in on a recurring basis; only partially for energy. Like all life on planet humans are open systems which keep tearing down their structure & require intake of atoms/molecules from which to rebuild their structure. Intestinal lining cells replaced ~every 3 days. CaPO4 in bones ~every 6 years, ...Read more
Vulvar Folliculitis: Assuming that the lesions are truly pilo-pustular in origin [see image], the most common bacterial causes are staphylococcus and pseudomonas sp. M. Hominis is, of course, associated with cervicitis and vaginitis, and very infrequently with vulvovaginitis [photo from uptodate. Com, reproduced with permission from lynne j margesson, md].
Smegma not bumps: M genitalis is what is found in the cheesy, curdly secretion found between the foreskin and glans penis. It does not cause bumps- if you are referring to the whitish bumps that is sometimes seen alon the edge of the glans penis, those are naturally occurring " pink pearly penile papules ".
For a vaginal infection caused by mycoplasma hominis, I am aware doxy is the chosen med, but for how long? Heard mycoplasma can be stubborn.
Mycoplasma Hominis,: M. Hominis is generally susceptible in vitro to tetracyclines (eg, doxycycline). Fluoroquinolones, such as Ciprofloxacin and moxifloxacin, are usually active in vitro against m. Hominis. Chloramphenicol mics are relatively high for m. Hominis (2 to 25 mcg/ml), m. Hominis is generally resistant to the macrolides (erythromycin, azithromycin, clarithromycin), aminoglycosides, sulfonamides, etc.).
How to find the Bug (bacteria, virus, fingi, parassite, mycoplasma etc) that caused an orticaria, acute pneumonia, atypical broncospasm, mass?
Had a mycoplasma and ureaplasma vaginal swab test done while I was on nitrofurantoin for something unrelated. Can this possibly cause false negative?
No: Nitrofurantoin is used almost exclusively for either the treatment or prevention of a lower urinary tract infection (aka bladder infection, cystitis). It has no activity that I am aware of against either mycoplasma or ureaplasma and would therefore not cause a false negative vaginal swab test for these 2 organisms.
My doctor was looking for what caused my Urticaria but my blood work said I had Mycoplasma.?? But I itch badly in heat. I need serious help.
? Cholinergic: Urticaria, or other form of urticaria, better be sorted out by your doctor who might refer you, meanwhile you need to take antihistamines on regular basis whether you have symptoms or not, caution not to drive if you get sedated, your doctor might start you on cyproheptadine, an antihistaminic used to treat cholinergic urticaria, if you truly have it, take care
Hi doc wondering why do I have greenish discharge but I do not have chlamydia, gonorrhoea or mycoplasma what is the cause of green vaginal discharge?
Infection? Trich?: Colored vaginal discharge usually indicates infection. You don't mention trichomonas, which might be possible. Trich has been almost eliminated in urban Australia, so I would expect a test to be negative. Still, it should be checked by PCR test. Consider consultation at the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre. Australia's SHCs are the world's best such clinics, and MSHC is the best of the best.
Brucella can cause acquired IgM deficiency. Can borrelia, babesia, bartonella, or mycoplasma cause this? What other chronic infections?
The mentioned: Infections causes cytopenias and red blood cell destructions but not aware they cause immune deficiency.
Irritated urethra & slight inflamed meatus Full panel STD test inc mycoplasma gen neg. Enterococcus faecalis found in semen Can this be the cause?

Can non chlamidial ngu cause pid in female partner. Gonorrhoea, chlamidia, mycoplasma genitalium, ureaplsama, trich all negative. No std found.?
Probably not: Neither PID nor any other health problem has ever been documented in the sex partners of men with NGU not due to chlamydia or M. genitalium. Does your partner have PID, or are you just worried concerned about it? If the latter, my advice is to not worry. If PID is suspected, she of course should see her doctor or perhaps an NHS GUM clinic. Otherwise nothing need be done.
What causes prostatitis? All std tests negative. Mycoplasma and ureaplasma tests negative. Urine culture negative. 6 woks cipro (ciprofloxacin) not cured Contagious?
If negative tests for bv, chlamydia, mycoplasma, ureaplasma, herpes, syphilis, gonorrea, trichomonas, hiv, what can be causes of cervicitis/urethritis?
Can mycoplasma pneumoniae cause pulmonary embolism and/or deep vein thrombosis? If so, how do doctors treat these issues?
Unclear: I'm not sure if you are referring to mycoplasma fermentans or not. There is the thought that it has a role in gulf war syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, and "chronic" lyme disease, but treatments like months and months of IV antibiotics, i'd imagine, would fall outside of mainstream medical care. I'd defer, however, to my infectious disease colleagues to see if they can add any thoughts.
Many diseases: Severity of infection and prognosis depend on multiple factors. There is a long laundry list of possible infectious diseases caused by mycoplasma species. They can affect the genitourinary system, central nervous system, kidneys, joints, heart, upper and lower respiratory tract. It can also cause wound infections, postpartum fever, and neonatal bacteremia and meningitis.
Depends: Mycoplasma genitalium infection may not always be symptomatic. If it is, it should be within 2 weeks or so of intercourse.
Hard w/400 character: The term "mycoplasma" is used to refer to organisms within the class mollicutes that is composed of five genera (mycoplasma, ureaplasma, acholeplasma, anaeroplasma, and asteroloplasma). 120+ named species exist and 13 mycoplasma species have been found in humans. However, only four species are human pathogens. Generally cause upper respiratory infections or ear infections (mainly in kids).
