Price vs Demand?: My guess would be lack of sustained need / demand for it. I suspect that despite advertised (and proven) better cardiovascular side effects profile the gain might have been perceived by clinicians to be too small compared to difference in price. Try alternative: Cenestin is a plant based conjugated estrogen FDA approved 1999. There are differing reports as to if Cenestin has been discontinued. Barr pharma(also associated with Cenestin) now produces a new plant based conjugated estrogen- Enjuivia.
