No: If you had a grade 3 sprain of your ankle ( severe) then you shouldn't expect much improvement @ 4 days.Swelling, discoloration are the norm. @ 2 wks you should be better but it may take 4-6 wks. See your doctor: An ankle sprain is graded on severity and symptoms. The inability to walk two weeks after an ankle sprain is concerning. Even in mild sprains, you do tear part of the ligament.
