No: If you had a grade 3 sprain of your ankle ( severe) then you shouldn't expect much improvement @ 4 days.Swelling, discoloration are the norm. @ 2 wks you should be better but it may take 4-6 wks. For it to resolve.Consider seeing an orthopedic surgeon for evaluation, x-rays to rule out a fracture and treatment guidelines.Best of luck! ...Read more

See your doctor: An ankle sprain is graded on severity and symptoms. The inability to walk two weeks after an ankle sprain is concerning. Even in mild sprains, you do tear part of the ligament. In more severe sprains, more of the ligament is torn. It's possible you could have injured more than one ligament, the cartilage, or the bone which is not allowing you to walk.
