When sleeping with no cover and feel cold at night. I wake up with diarrhea that lasts for 3 or more days. Why would being cold while sleeping do that?

When sleeping with no cover and feel cold at night. I wake up with diarrhea that lasts for 3 or more days. Why would being cold while sleeping do that?

Doctor can evaluate: Odd symptoms require one to find a primary doctor who has plenty of time to hear the whole story. Just being cold from ambient air would not cause diarrhea, but feeling cold may be due to having a fever (which, if due to a stomach bug, could cause diarrhea). A fever on the rise causes one to feel coldness and chills, but a fever that's dropping will cause one to feel hot and sweaty. ...Read more

I've been out if work for 2 months, it's a bit stressful. I just noticed my bowel movements are not regular and I have diarrhea for more than a week.

Constipation: You may be constipated and the diarrhea may represent liquid stool leaking around the obstructing hard stool. A bowel movement may cure your problem. Use the laxative of your choice. My favorite in situations like this is Citrate of Magnesium. It comes in many flavors and when pored over ice, very palatable. ...Read more

I have a fever, loose stools, fatigue for 2 days and back pain more than a week plus side of the body pain to flank area. Do i have disease/problem?

See your doctor...: Sounds like you are sick. To determine the actual illness, you should be examined (Flank pain is suspicious for a kidney infection; however, with the other symptoms it may also be related to intestinal inflammation from a stomach virus). Your doctor will be easily able to differentiate and treat you accordingly. ...Read more

History of ibs. Past week/gas/full fast/heavy. Last night bad gas. Morning diarrhea 4x and nausea. Now stom feels bruised. No more D. Ibs flare or big?

Ibs: These symptoms could be consistent with ibs but could there also be a component of lactose intolerance? After these symptoms abdominal soreness isn't unusual but if abdominal discomfort persists and there is associated tenderness, an examination by your physician would be advisable. If it was a flare up of ibs do you have any idea of what could have set it off- diet or stress? ...Read more

I've had light green diarrhea for about a week now. There is no pain, but I have to use the restroom more than 3 times a day. Should i be concerned?

Yes: 1 week is getting long for a common type of viral illness that can cause diarrhea, and you become more at risk of getting dehydrated and acquiring electrolyte abnormalities with chronic diarrhea. See a dr. For an evaluation, diagnosis and treatment. Best wishes. ...Read more
