I am 33 year old male, have had loose stools (not watery) for years. Stomach growling/gas/acid reflux/mild cramps, hemrroids. Is this colon cancer?

IBS: Symptoms of loose stools ; abdominal cramps in young adult male suggestive of irritable bowel syndrome. Intestinal cancer would be most unusual. Personally, i would be interested in history of extreme sports participation ; chronic low back pain, which I have found concommitent with these symptoms in young adult males. Not always.: Although change in bowel habits is a strong indicator of colon cancer, it can signify other things as well, like irritable bowel syndrome, or gallbladder issue, i.e. Stones. Partial obstruction : When the colon gets partially blocked (as in some cancers) stool can back up and constipation occurs. When constipation is longstanding, liquid stool moves around the blockage. Unlikely: There are many reasons for constipation and for diarrhea. Typically colon cancer presents with bloody stools or no symptoms. It's also unlikely in young people which is why colonoscopy screenings are recommended after age 50, unless you have significant risk factors like family history or other certain medical problems.
