Diarrhea And Headache During Pregnancy
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

Are loose stools normal in early pregnancy? Is it possible that this is how my body is dealing with morning sickness?
Gurgling stomach, lower ab pain, loose stools, weight loss... Still getting period, on the pill, negative pregnancy tests... Lower back pain... help!
Duration?: Hi. Are these symptoms new or chronic? If acute, you may just have a GI bug that will clear itself within days. If chronic, you need to consider things like inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, etc. Any mucous and/or blood in stool? If it's chronic, or doesn't resolve promptly, please see your doc. Good luck!
Can loose stools be an only pregnancy symptom (have it for 1 Mo)? NO sex since june 25 but no regular periods either. (had spotting, then full blown pms, then no pms) no other preg cliché symptoms, just bit of nausa. Or could it be a stomach Flu?
Rather than: Guessing - a home pregnancy test is inexpensive and accurate.
Hormones.: Estrogen and Progesterone skyrocket during pregnancy and lower the migraine and headache threshold for predisposed women. Obese women can have pseudotumor cerebri and any woman may have preeclampsia. Stress can always cause tension headache. Acetaminophen (+/- codeine) is the mainstay of therapy during pregnancy. Metoclopramide 10 mg when taken with tylenol (acetaminophen) 1000 mg is very effective and safe!See 3 more doctor answers
Depends: Generally, tylenol (acetaminophen) is considered safe. You should, however, consult with your obstetrician before taking any medication (prescription or over the counter) during pregnancy. It is best to avoid medications, if possible, during pregnancy and your doctor will weigh the risks and benefits of these medications when deciding. Massage and heat may be better for muscle tension headaches.See 1 more doctor answer
More Info Please: If you are early in pregnancy, you can try some tylenol (acetaminophen) for your headaches. You can also sleep it off. You may try some tiger Balm massage on your head and forehead. However, a headache later in pregnancy can be a sign of Pre Eclampsia. You should see your doctor and get your BP check done. Good Luck.
See your OB/GYN: With few exceptions, medications should not be prescribed if the patient is pregnant because of possible harm to the unborn child. No drug, including over-the-counter medication, should ever be prescribed without consulting the patient's obstetrician. Good luck.
I'm at week 7 nd from last 3-4 days I experienced mild headache, is this normal during pregnancy?
Maybe normal: Maybe. Were any medical problems identified on your initial prenatal visit? Have you been pregnant before? Did you experience any medical issues during your last pregnancy? I would want to check your blood pressure and encourage adequate hydration. There are a plethora of common reasons why you would get a headache like anyone else but you certainly need to mention this to your physician if he.See 1 more doctor answer
Mostly normal: About 1/3 of pregnant women have an increase in headaches, and that is ok. If you have severe headaches that don't go away with tylenol, (acetaminophen) or spots in front of your eyes, call your obstetrician immediately. Cramping may be normal, but if your entire abdomen is getting hard and tight, and this is coming and going regularly, call your obstetrician. Wishing you the best during your pregnancy.
