My mother age 84 has been having loose stools w/no pain or blood in stool. On the poop chart appears to be type 5 scattered pieces, no temp or pain?

IBD or IBS: Cramping, pain, loose stools, but not frequently. Possibly small specs of blood in stool rarely. Does this mean Chrohns or IBD over IBS?
Can't tell.: No way to tell from the info. If there is truly blood then IBD must be a consideration, but plenty of people with IBS have blood related to constipation or hemorrhoids or another common cause. Best to see your doc for an exam. See a doctor ASAP: You have colitis at least, and this can be either infectious or inflammatory bowel disease or potentially tumor. You need to be fully evaluated and as soon as is reasonable.
