Gastric reflux: You are probably having reflux(backing up) of stomach acid into your food pipe(esophagus) which is causing the belching. It is happening right after eating because stomach acid production starts with food entering the stomach. You need to try medications like Maalox, Mylanta, Pepcid (famotidine) AC, Prilosec OTC which can help symptoms. You also need to stay upright at least 45 minutes after eating. ...Read more

IBD: With that long a history of these symptoms, you need to have an examination and some stool studies, blood tests, and a colonoscopy at the very least to determine the reason for your symptoms. I would be suspicious of an Inflammatory Bowel Disease like Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis but could also be a chronic infection or irritable bowel disease. Get checked!!! ...Read more
