New heart and lungs


Both the diseased heart and lungs are removed from the recipient and then a new heart and lungs are implanted. This procedure is done on those with both severe heart and lung disease. The patient is placed on immunosuppressive medication after the procedure.

The question has a lot of contingencies based on the overall health of the recipient, the type of employment, the age of the recipient, any rejection, etc. In general it takes 1-2 months to stabilize and recover after a thoracic organ transplant., and considerations about return to work can begin after that approximate time.

May not be correct


Endometrial biopsy is not a dangerous surgical procedure and unless the person had a serious bleeding disorder, mild to moderate heart and lung disease would not be a contraindication for endometrial biopsy.
