Get tested: You should get tested to see if you have diabetes or a pre-diabetic. It would need more history, physical examination and may be some tests for a proper evaluation. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Possibly: There would have to be tests done to determine if the pain is the result of blood vessel blockage or just a muscular reaction to the activity. If it is blood vessel blockage it is most likely related to the diabetes. It can be treated by medication and, sometimes, surgery.
