Hive & rash: you have urticaria or allergic dermatitis, it is best if you see your doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment, at the mean time try an antihistamine such as Zyrtec or Benadryl, (diphenhydramine) hydrocortisone cream, but you need to find out what you are allergic to. See below: Hives can be caused by anything under the sun (including the sun - solar hives). Therefore, determining the cause is very difficult. By definition, chronic hives is defined as occurring after 6 weeks of daily symptoms, but i refer at 3 weeks to dermatology or allergy. My lower legs get very itchy at random times. When i scratch them, the skin turns very red, hives apper, and my legs can feel burning. Help?
