No itch? No allergy.: That about sums it up. Allergic rashes hives, eczema & contact dermatitis itch. A lot. If this rash doesn't it's not one of those. No itching also rules out chickenpox. Streptococcal infections, viral infections, sun poisoning, solar photosensitivity, all come to mind. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words. Rash: Rash is something that you cannot advise on without seeing it. First and foremost in practice of medicine is making the right diagnosis. Then you give right advice. Infection? : Hives don't usually go along with small blister like dots with a black center unless the blisters are impetigo. I'm not sure what the black dots are. If there is an infection then antibiotics are needed. Get her checked. ...Read more
