Any opinions on a detox bath? Detoxifying your body by laying in a tub with epson salt, ginger, baking soda, and essential oils?
Reasonable to try: There is not much research on this topic, but epsom salt baths are a proven way to get magnesium into our bodies, which most people need more of. Possibly: No one does research giving herbs during pregnancy so we don't know for sure. It seems safe to use in cooking but taking medicinal amounts may cause bleeding or stimulate uterine contractions. I advise caution with all herbs in the first trimester.
