Detached Cornea Symptoms
What are the signs or symptoms of a detached cornea? Does it always affect vision or pain? Any change to the way the eye looks? 1 of my eyes looks odd
?: You cannot have a detached cornea. If you have had, what is called, a lamellar corneal transplant, you could have a detachment of the tissue inside the eye. If you have not had prior corneal surgery, then what you suggest is not possible. See an ophthalmologist for an exam if your eye "looks odd". ...Read more
Im looking for information on detached cornea because mine was just removed yesterday due to being detached. But this material says it cannot happen?!

In Fuchs dystrophy, will contact lenses make symptoms worse because the cornea is getting less oxygen. I really don't want to give up wearing contacts?
Need to talk to eye:
doctor. I would ask that to your opthalmologist. I feel that there is more a chance of you going blind wearing contacts. The oxygen is important and the new contacts are gas permeable. But....... I would not take the chance of infection or keratitis and go blind.
