Desipramine (norpramin) is a non-selective tricyclic antidepressant used to treat major depression, ocd, enuresis, and various anxiety disorders. It is more directed towards inhibiting norepinephrine than serotonin reuptake, but affects both.

Yes: 25 mg would also not be too much providing child does not experience side effects such as nightmares, cofusion or excessive dryness of mouth, headaches, costipation etc..
