Depends: upon where the avulsion fracture occurred! For example in a "strong bone" such as the fibula (ankle ) avulsion a small cyst is probably not significant! Currently healing from confirmed big toe avulsion fracture. I can bend the toe, but there's an odd snapping feeling on the side where the fracture is. Is that the tendon that pulled away from the bone? What could that be? It feels odd.
