I am using face wash with 2% salicylic acid. My dermatologist gave me a night cream that also contains salicylic acid.Can I use both of them together?

Went 2 dermatologist. Doing treatments of blue/light 4 acne. Dr gave me cetaphil-oil-control-foam-wash 4 acne it's making face red&hot,acne wore. Why?
That foaming wash: contains a little acid so can be a little irritating if you have sensitive skin. I am sure you were also given prescription medications as blue light alone is not enough. Perhaps the prescriptions are causing irritation. talk with your dermatologist ...Read more
