I've some mosquito bites on face for which my dermatologist prescribed me topical cutivate twice daily. Can I put my facial moisturizer other times when I'm not putting cutivate?
Yes: Absolutely. Just allow the medicated cream time to absorb (10minutes should be sufficient) before putting anything else on the area you are treating. In addition, use the Cutivate Cream very sparingly on the face, and for as short a time possible, as it can cause pigment changes in skin and the facial skin is delicate skin.
When I can use my facial moisturizer? .Although I've to put topical cutivate twice for some mosquito bites as my dermatologist prescribed for me?!
Facial moisturizer: You can still use your moisturizer even though you are treating bug bites with cutivate.
Dermatologists: are serums a good hydrating moisturizer, or are creams better? Looking for an intense moisturizer for eye area.
Creams.: Creams are always more hydrating than lotions which are more hydrating typically than serums. A great intensive over-the-counter moisturizer is cerave cream. For a good eye repair product which is intensely moisturizing, try skinmedica eye repair.
My face is covered in Eczema. I've seen lots of dermatologist & nothing works, even went to the black market. Any recommends? I want to die. In pain.
You have not been tr: Only a fool would go to the "black market" for such a serious problem. You fail to identify any treatments or prescriptions. This can be treated. The usual is tacrolimus ointment. 1%. See a dermatologist and bring all the things you have used, or bring a list of all previous attempts at treatment.See 2 more doctor answers
If my face is peeling due to using stieva-a 0.1% do you recommend I stop? Use a moisturizer and continue the stieva in a week? Or keep going? Thanks
Don't stop yet: Peeling is normal at the beginning of treatment with tretinoin. However, you might want to consider using a less potent version, such as 0.025% or 0.05% and use cream rather than gel. Still use moisturizer.
No one answer: Skin care regimens vary greatly depending on your skin type and may benefit from oral and/or topical medications prescribed by a dermatologist. I generally recommend cetaphil daily facial cleanser and eucerin facial moisturizer with spf but this is only a suggestion and may need to be modified for you.
I've got acne prone skin with hyperpigmentation and redness. Can someone recommend me a good drugstore face moisturizer?
Moisturizer: A fragrance free moisturizer such as cereve or cetaphil may be used for dry acne prone skin. See a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment options for hyper pigmentation, acne, and redness.
Depends: It is depends on what kind of spot you have. Dermatologists can give you topical creams. Some spots develop as you get older and it is inherited, some from sun exposure.Ther are different lasers that can help with spots, depend on skin type and type of spots as well. You should consult dermatologist about your spot.
I have no idea what the heck is going on with the skin on my face! How do I choose a dermatologist?
Ask someone you trus: Ask someone you trust to help you find a qualified doctor. Then make your own decision. You won't know if your choice is a good fit for you until after you have had at least one office visit.
I've had flat warts on my face for five years, I've visited the dermatologist and nothing they gave me worked. What do I do?
Flat warts: Flat warts can take a long time to be treated. 1st thing is to make sure that this is the correct diagnosis. Several treatment options are available: freezing with liquid nitrogen, light electrosurgery, laser, topical Imiquimod gel, catharone. Most important is to treat them without leaving scars.See 1 more doctor answer

What is the med for pricking of face? My dermatologist perform diamond peel with pricking of face. The result is redness and wound around my face.

Digital photos and phone review could be completed for immediate peace of mind. Could be normal healing...But review is recommended.
How to clear bacne? I have used the same products I use on my face and my face is clear. Will medicated body powder work? Already tried dermatologist.
Try oral meds: If you cannot get someone to apply the topical meds then you will have to take oral medication. Speak to your doc about them.
Is there a special kind of dermatologist for questions on what kind of face care routine? Mine literaly said use a mild soap. Wow. Combination oily sk
Soo many products...: Sooo little time to review all of them! I guess we are all at fault a little for not being more specific, the thing is there really are so many options. A fairly recent, inexpensive, and widely available option for combo oily skin is dermcontrol cleanser by cetaphil. This is a great product - zaps oil without being too drying, and won't break the bank!
The simple answer: Is yes they certainly can, and so can most family physicians.
Small brown spot on face. See the dermatologist regularly. If the dr left it alone I assume it's ok. Been there at least 2 y?
Safe assumption: If it has been unchanged for 2 years and your doctor has been watching it and is not concerned about it I would think it is OK. Nothing to worry about it.
