Hello. Will quitting smoking cold turkey, affect my medications in any way? I'm using 200 mg Lamictal and 150 mg Zoloft (sertraline). Any dangers reagarding this?

I take 150 of bupropion 2x daily and 20mg of lexapro (escitalopram). prescription by primary. My anxiety has improved, but i'm really forgetful. Feedback?

These could include B12 and folate deficiencies, low free t3 (liothyronine) or low t4, lyme's disease, anemia, and a whole host of other possibilities. If nothing else is found, your dr may wish to lower down one or the other antidepressants. Impressions: Not clear to me that he has Parkinson's, as the description could be associated with Alzheimer's, multi-infarct dementia, medication side effects. The dose of L-DOPA needs to be given four times daily, and should be at a minimum, dosed at 400 mg daily, at low dose. Worth a therapeutic trial but if fails, might get second opinion. ...Read more
