What is snri and how does it work? What drugs are in this class? Is tramadol an snri? What is seratonin syndrome? Do these treat depression and pain?
SNRI: Snri = serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. Effexor, pristiq, meridia, savella (milnacipran), (milnacipran) and Cymbalta are in this class. Tramadol is not. When serotonin and norepinephrine are not taken back up into the neuron, they are more available in the synaptic cleft between neurons.
