Psychotropic meds: There is no one "best " medication for this purpose. The selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor class is good for this. I personally like Lexapro (escitalopram) because of it's relatively mild side effect profile but others are equally effective. See that you are taking diazepam. Is fluoximine a good drug for gad and depression? Lyrica (pregabalin) is making me loose my mind, life it's gots more side effects than benefits! :(
Yes it is: Luvox or fluvoxamine is an excellent medication for depression and anxiety. Lyrica (pregabalin) on the other hand can be used in rare siuations for anxiety when nothing else works, but it is not an antidepressant. You have also alluded to lyrica's side effects, and there are too many in my experience to have any desire to prescribe it as a psychotropic drug.
