The good news, though, is that at one year, around 45% of women have no periods at all. After another year up to 75% of women have no periods. The first 6 months can be rough but it gets better after that. Consider a home pregnancy test as a precaution. Best wishes! ...Read more

Depends: It's common to have discharge after cryotherapy, but, that said, it's unusual to have delayed heavy bleeding like you describe. Cryotherapy shouldn't mess up your hormones. Perhaps there was a scab or clot that just got dislodged. If the bleeding lasts more than 48 hours, especially if it continues to be heavy, you should contact your gyno. ...Read more

The: The depo-provera effects on ovulation are gone after 6 months so that is probably not it. Coagulation problems are a possibility and easy to check, but unlikely if you never had these issues before. It is likely you are experiencing problems with irregular ovulation (anovulation), so an evaluation would be advisable for hormonal causes (thyroid, prolactin levels, etc.) or anatomical causes (polyps, fibroid, etc.). If everything fails or the evaluation is negative you may want to consider going on the pill for 3-6 mo to regulate you back again. ...Read more
