Thoughts: Your pain does not seem consistent with either chronic Lyme (although chronic Lyme has several non-specific possible presenting symptoms) nor Depo use. Not a good option-: -though steroid injections help, they are also great destroyers of soft tissue as tendons, articular cartilage, ,so you should not keep getting them.
