I just got a precripfion for prednisone. I am supposed to take it for 7 days. 60mg, thd 50.Mg, then 40mg, and so on down to 10 i like to have a couple of beers after work. I work 10 to 14 hours a day. I would like to know if this is a problem with pred

It can be: A problem. Prednisone can increase the chance of increased stomach acid and inflammation, like gastritis or even stomach/duodenal ulcers. Alcohol may contribute to this as well. You didn't say why you are on it, but I am guessing a COPD exacerbation, which means you probably smoke. The combo of alcohol, tobacco and Prednisone is not a good one for your GI tract.
