15dpo test result is negative. Now 3days late. Do period always come exactly 14days after ovulation? Can period delayed or late to come 14days after o?
Not so exact: Ovulation and periods are not that exact so holding to a one day difference is not reasonable. If you did not ovulate or ovulated later than you think then your period would also be later. After you start your period you can subtract 14 days and that is about the day that you ovulated. ...Read more

Why haven't I got a BBT rise this month after ovulation? I'm now on day 30 of my cycle of a usual 35 day cycle
BBT is not as useful: As some have been lead to believe. The much more sensitive way to determine ovulation timing is with the use of over the counter LH surge or "ovulation prediction tests". The BBT can be affected by stress, time of year, the instrument used to take the measurement, and of course illness or even vaccines. Travel can affect BBT. Also, you may have not ovulated this cycle. Try an OPK, for best info. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Based on an OPK and an ultrasound I believe I ovulated yesterday afternoon. This morning my BBT had not risen yet. I read it can take 12/24 hours after ovulation for BBT to rise. Is this true?
Is it true that after ovulation it takes 12-24 hours for BBT to rise? And thus, if you ovulate at night or even late afternoon, your morning temp may not show it yet?
Yes: In fact, because sperm can live a few days inside your body, you can get pregnant anytime from a few days before to a few days after ovulation. You don't have to wait for exact day of ovulation in order to try to get pregnant. If you're trying to get pregnant, start taking prenatal vitamins to minimize your risk for neural tube defects eg spina bifida. Otherwise, use protection, preferably 2 forms. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
