Likely: Try miralax (polyethylene glycol). It has no taste. Mix one capful in 4-8 oz of any non-carbonated beverage daily. It just draws water into your colon to really make your stool softer. The goal is an easy-to-pass, long smooth stool. No rocks or hard pebbles. Chronic constipation can lead to diverticulosis or obstipation. Tough one: Could have sperate issues occurring synergistically. You may have an issue in your GI system, getting dehydrated becuase no appetitie, could have anxiety problems adding, like ittitble bowel syndorme, could be a colon problem or stomach problem. Constipation war!: The best approach is to have a plan that you implement every day to avoid constipation. Generous (64+ oz/day) fluid (water) intake is most important, as is including fiber in your diet (particularly whole grains), & daily exercise.
