Here goes: I am unaware of why you required an MRI of brain, but the described lesions could be present due to migraine, prior head trauma, smoking, prior infections, even MS, but the description is not the common pattern. DEMYELINATION: What you describe is a sequence of new and old lesions consistent with an active disease process. Although a number of disorders could present this way, by and far, the most likely cause is multiple sclerosis. The diagnosis needs confirmation, and treatment should be initiated asap.
