Suggestions: Sudafed and afrin are safe decongestants, Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and nasal steroids ok for allergy symptoms. Honey is a good cough suppressant. Colds: You can trial any OTC tussin DM product you like to see if they will help his symptoms - it is really variable on how much they help. You can also use warm fluids with honey to help soothe his cough. Cough is a protective function so suppressing it aggressively is counter-productive.
