You need to be: treated for the underlying cause as well as symptoms. You treating yourself with otc medications that is fine but see specialist doctors to get treated for the underlying cause. If it is deviated septum of the nose you need septoplasty, if acid reflux or allergies are the cause you need to be treated to eliminate those causes. ...Read more

Colds: You can trial any OTC tussin DM product you like to see if they will help his symptoms - it is really variable on how much they help. You can also use warm fluids with honey to help soothe his cough. Cough is a protective function so suppressing it aggressively is counter-productive. Saline nasal spray to aid in thinning the secretions in his nose and sinuses is also worth trying. ...Read more
