19mo old given Decadron (dexamethasone) 3 day in ER for amox allergy. Hives return in extreme next day. Prescibed prednisdone 3 oral doses. We are on day 7 of hives can I just continue w/benedrayl vs more steroids?

Thrombocytopenia 4 mths ago after taking several doses of bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim). Thrown in remission after 3 days decadron. Plt. In 200s n holding. Pregnancy safe?
Check: with your doctor. It is also concerning me that you have not listed bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) or sulfa as an allergy.
