If you can distract yourself for just 3-5 minutes, they'll usually go away. If you can avoid eating candy for a few days, you'll have a lot fewer cravings. Not really: it's pretty small amount of stuff, so it has a very small effect. I'm not entirely certain what the expectation of sugar does. Certainly it makes one subjectively FEEL like being hyPOglycemic.
