GERD : It sounds like gerd (gastro-esophageal reflux disease). This means the sphincter between the esophagus and the stomach doesn't completely close and stomach contents reflux back up the esophagus. My son has problems on enfamil soy. He was switched to nutramigen, but he spits up more and is still having gas issues. I am lost! please any advice?
Reflux : Why is your child on soy? If he has reflux then the best formula is either enfamil ar or similac rs(for spit up). Nutramigen tastes terrible and usually is reserved for infants who have milk protein allergy, and those babies usually have bloody diarrhea not just spit up and gas.
