Saw something on tv today about herpes infection killing babies. Is this complete lies? I thought herpes was just a rash and NOT DEADLY at all?

3yr old has mild anemia and developed the 5th disease rash, is this life threatening since she is anemic??? Im panicking
Be calm, 5th's dz: is a common viral infection seen in children. It is caused by parvovirus. Anemia shouldn't affect the course of the infection which is self-liming, but My question is why is your child anemic.
