Cycle typically 28-34 days. Spotting day 28, no period, negative pregnancy test day 35. Pregnancy symptoms. Could i still be pregnant?
Possibly: Since your periods vary some it is possible you checked the pregnancy test too early to detect a pregnancy. Wait 3-5 more days then check again. If your pregnancy test is still negative then and your period still hasn't come then you could get a blood pregnancy test, which is more accurate to detect early pregnancies. ...Read more

Missed Menstrual Cycle now 8 days, but negative pregnancy test. Now I'm experiencing flu like symptoms. Can I possibly be pregnant?
Unlikely: The two issues may be unrelated. If you did the test correctly and it was negative at 8 days after a missed period, you are unlikely to be pregnant. You may wish to repeat the test in 3-4 days, if you do not get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. ...Read more

4th day of missed period (30 day cycle). Getting pregnancy symptoms but negative hpt (strip). Also have uti. How soon can I take a blood test.?
Try another test: Most hpts are pretty sensitive and should be positive by a missed period. A negative hpt, assuming it was done correctly, is pretty accurate. If you are concerned it was false, you can do another one 48 hours later. This will save you a blood test. Two negative tests make it pretty clear it's negative. Symptoms may actually be the start of a cycle as well. The UTI shouldn't interfere with this. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
