Dark Urine One Time
I have constant nausea coupled with dark urine no meter how much water i drink. Going on 2 months now. Tired all the time. Thoughts?
Urine is the product of the kidneys, which is produced to eliminate the waste products of metabolism, manage body fluid balance, &maintain acid-base balance. The blood is first filtered by the kidneys, and the composition of the resulting fluid is then altered depending on the body's needs. Can one dose of Ativan (lorazepam) or Propranolol cause tremors and dark urine? About to see cardiology today. Just wondering.
Not that I know of: Both drugs, in fact, REDUCE tremor in most people. Dark urine is usually just related to dehydration, but if you are normally hydrated and it still appears dark, a urinalysis is the place to at least start. Cannot tell you what is going on without a more complete history of the problem, as well as more medical information. Talk to your cardiologist about it. ...Read more
I have brown urine. Drinking lots of water. Weightlifting 3 times a week. What could this be? Increased dark urine after I exercise.
Probably myoglobinur: Many possible explanations here, including supplements that discolor urine, other causes of renal injury, dehydration, bleeding in kidney OR increased muscle breakdown and excretion in urine. Only the first would be trivial. You need to stop exercising and get your renal function and urine analysed by a doctor to be sure. The best thing you are doing is hydrating...keep that up. What other symptoms do you have? The information you provided doesn't necessarily concern me unless you are having other symptoms such as weight loss, flank pains, abdominal pains or back pains.
Most likely it's from dehydration but it can sometimes be due to a mild underlying infection, if you aren't having UTI symptoms then there is no need to do anything about it. ...Read more
What does it mean if my right kidney hurts and my left one hurts sometimes? I also have foamy and dark urine. And i have sharp heart pain occasionally
UNUSUAL to feel "Kidney Pain" unless infected or otherwise abnormal (obstruction, stones, etc)
"Foamy and Dark" are very NON-SPECIFIC appearances for urine[email protected]
The sharp "heart pain" is most likely NOT from your heart....people don't describe cardiac pain as pain "in or from" their hearts
THUS:" YOU NEED A VISIT TO YOUR PCP (Primary Care Provider) with whom you should discuss these concerns!

I stop drinkin fluids early evening Only small volume urination at bed time. 4am large volume dark urine.8am large volum clear urine. Water retention?
More information is needed to address the issue. Do you stand for long periods of time during the day? if yes that may explain pooling of fluid in the legs during day and mobilization at night. What you described also fits in with symptoms of early heart failure. It would be prudent to see your doctor for an evaluation.

Drink 2 litres a day but have amber/ orangey urine in morning. Goes clear/ light after drinking water. Would jaundice cause dark urine all the time?
Dark urine: Fi you drink a lot of water in the daytime and very little late evening or before you go to bed, you may have dark urine in the morning. The fact that it clears up when you drink water, is suggestive that you do not have jaundice. If you are concerned however, talk to your doctor. ...Read more
Recently I have had dark urine, im a female, and one sided headaches. I have had some pelvic pain. My nose bled a little bit today also.
Unrelated: This constellation of symptoms doesn't give a good suggestion of a single underlying cause. You may be a little dehydrated, or having some allergy problems. While these could possibly go with pregnancy, they are too vague and non-specific to make an educated guess for a single cause. ...Read more
