When the kidneys are trying to conserve water they decrease the amount of water excreted, and the urine is more concentrated and appears darker. I would suggest increasing fluid intake. ...Read more

Hematuria.: Your first description just sounds like a concentrated urine - like you just need to drink more water - but the blood is a little more thought provoking. Dark urine: Lortab does not cause dark urine. Most likely you are not drinking enough water through out the day. Start drinking water at least 8 glasses a day at regular intervals to stay hydrated.
