No, not at all: Caffeine, less than 200mg a day is definitely okay in pregnancy. New studies have come out saying so. Even american college of ob/gyn issued a statement recently stating that. One cup of coffee usually has around 90 and a shot of expresso, around 75mg. So you could easily have a double shot latte! Dark chocolate has health benefits and has even less caffeine. Nipple problems: If someone is breastfeeding and has cracked nipples there may be some blood. Most women don't have to deal with that. Also need to have someone see if it is a boil - as in an infection - or if it is a blister from nursing. If someone is having problems breastfeeding it would be a good idea to talk to a lactation consultant. Also should have breasts checked by MD to see if infected or not. ...Read more
