Itchy, scaly, dark patches of skin on both lower legs since a kid. Problem is now it's increasing..Wht shld I do? Is the dark skin permanent?
Sounds like Eczema: Could be eczema which can get worse over time. Avoid long hot showers and harsh and drying cleansers. Apply fragrance-free moisturizer like Vanicream. Use at least twice a day. For eczema flares, apply prescription strength corticosteroid ointments to problem areas twice a day until clear. Dark skin can improve over time with proper treatment. ...Read more
