Infant feeding: Lentil is an excellent source of fiber and nutritious as well. It is harder to digest especially by a 4 mo. Current thinking is to start solid foods that are nutritious and easy to digest. Cereal is not necessarily the first food to give now. It has been found that meat
and /or vegetables are good to start with especially when baby is breastfed. The lentil caused the way her stools came out. ...Read more

My baby is 1 month age. I use fumula feeding no breastfed. Now he has stool around 10 time a day. But his stool is yellow and dark green colour.

Probably fine: I would not be worried about this kind of regular stooling pattern at this age as long as the child appears normal otherwise, is active &feeding well, growing normally and is receiving an approved baby formula, prepared or diluted properly. The baby's digestive system is still getting used to the child's new environment outsdide the uterus. Anything else seems amiss? Do check promptly with your md. ...Read more

What reason green stool for 3 month baby?

Transition: The color of poop depends on the status of the color additive. Bile: The greenish color in stool is the breakdown product of the bile when it has not been in the gut long enough to go through a change to yellowish or brown. It is normal as is the loose consistency. Some digested material will take on a darker tint than others & the germs in the gut will also impact the final product. I'd ignore the whole issue. ...Read more
