I take 200 mg of provigil daily to treat narcepsy. After 7 years it is not keeping me awake anymore. Could I have dveloped an immunity to the drug?

Talk to your doc!: 15mg? Not 1.5mg? That's a pretty good size dose! regardless, talk to your prescribing physician and tell him/her what you just wrote - that you want to quit. You'll need to taper off slowly to avoid withdrawal (http://en.Wikipedia.Org/wiki/benzodiazepine_withdrawal_syndrome) which can be life-threatening if not deadly. So work w/your doc to taper off.
