Don't do it!: All that would happen is a rapid temporary rise in thyroid level, followed by a sudden drop as the cytomel (liothyronine) was metabolized and your endogenous thyroid level drops temporarily due to the increase from the Cytomel (liothyronine). No one: should be on Cytomel, (liothyronine) particularly you. It acts quickly and only for a short period of time, doesn't give you normal levels of thyroid hormone, and is impossible to measure accurately in the blood.
